Order Your Free Annual Credit Report!

The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requires each of the three nationwide credit reporting companies (Equifax, Experian and TransUnion) to provide you with a free copy of your credit report, at your request, once every 12 months.

You may choose to order your free reports from all three credit reporting companies at the same time, or you may choose to order the reports from each company one at a time.  For example, maybe you choose to pull TransUnion in January, Equifax in May, and Experian in September – this way you see your credit report at three different times throughout the year.  The law allows you to order one free copy of your report from each of the nationwide credit reporting companies every 12 months.

How do I order my free report?

The three nationwide credit reporting companies have set up a central website, a toll-free telephone number, and a mailing address through which you can order your free annual report.  To order:

• Visit annualcreditreport.com (Consumers who visit this site should close their Internet browser after obtaining their report to ensure that their transaction is secure and their personal information is not at risk.),
• Call toll-free 1.877.322.8228, or
• Mail a completed Annual Credit Report Request Form to:
